Profile


Our state chapter and the local chapters of which it is comprised are dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey in Missouri and the preservation of our hunting heritage. To that end, each local chapter holds an annual fund-raising event, called a Super Fund banquet, to raise money and to increase membership.

Current News & Events
2008 Summer Leadership Meeting.
Mark your calender for September 6, 2008 and make plans to attend your state leadership conference and fun day. Once again we will be at the Boone County Fairgrounds north of Columbia. Registration begins at 8:30 am. Lunch will be provided and we will again be shooting trap after lunch. We plan to preview the 2009 core package, host several breakout sessions, and answer your questions. We will have several prizes you might win, and best of all, it's all free to you, as our way of saying thanks. Please contact your regional director if you have any questions, and to let us know how many from your chapter will be attending.
 
MoBCI and MONWTF

The Missouri Chapter of NWTF is proud to be one of 46 organizations which has united for the purpose of conserving Missouri's bird resources. State Board Elections
It's once again time for nominations for the George Clark Missouri State Chapter board of directors. Completed nomination forms should be returned to Ben Doerge, State Chapter President, 21273 Audrain Road 306, Mexico, MO 65265, by September 6, 2008. There are four terms expiring at the end of the year. If you, or someone you know, has an interest in running for the state board, please contact your regional director, Ben Doerge, or any of the current board members for a nomination form.

New Web Design
During November and December 2004, the George Clark Missouri State Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (MONWTF) undertook a redesign of its website. As part of this project, a more attractive and user-friendly interface was designed along with a more easily updated content system.
